"Motivated by our own experiences, we set out to make it easy and safe for families to prepare their babies for food." - Andrew Leitner, M.D., Co-Founder

We are a group of physicians, scientists, and parents who are passionate about ending the food allergy epidemic. Meet the team behind our mission to help families give their babies the freedom to eat!

Name: Lauren Phillips,

Title: Head of Operations at Ready, Set, Food!

Why are you so passionate about preventing food allergies?

For me food has always been about bringing people together, enjoying the experience of sharing a meal with my friends and family. I can't imagine what it would be like for the joy of eating to be hindered by the stress of an allergy. I want to be part of a movement that helps families prevent allergies, so when they sit down at the table they can simply enjoy each other's company, rather than worrying about a hospital visit.

What motivated you to become involved with Ready, Set, Food!?

I love being part of a team that genuinely believes in what they are doing for their customers. Daniel, Andy, and Katie all truly have a vision.

How has Ready, Set, Food! helped give your family an allergy-free future?

Babies are definitely on the horizon for my partner and me, and because of my involvement at Ready, Set, Food!, I know that allergies won't be something that plagues our household. One less thing to worry about. Now, how do you change a diaper ;) ?

How do you see Ready, Set, Food! advancing its mission of food freedom in the next 10 years?

Our expanding relationships with health facilities all around the world is something that I find incredibly exciting. Through those relationships, we can help thousands, who knows, maybe even millions, of families build allergy-free homes.
