The 3 things everyone wants to know about Ready, Set, Food!

What are the ingredients in Ready, Set, Food?

+

Ready, Set, Food! is made of 100% real organic food. No sugar, no additives, no preservatives. Stages 1 & 2 have only three ingredients - all organic: peanuts, egg whites, and cow’s milk. Nothing else! Stage 3 ingredients include all Top 9 allergens, all organic and nothing else: peanuts, egg whites, cow’s milk, cashews, almonds, walnuts, sesame, soy and wheat. It’s the same kind of real organic food you would feed your baby. And remember there is no added sugar and no preservatives.

How do I use Ready, Set, Food?

+

Ready, Set, Food! is a guided system to make early allergen introduction safe, easy and convenient. Each daily pre-measured packet mixes easily in a bottle or food. Just shake or stir until dissolved and feed as usual. Stage 1 is our introduction to the top 3 allergens - peanut, egg, milk. Start your baby as early as 4 months of age. Gradually introduce peanut, egg and milk one at a time for the first 30 days. Stage 2 - Maintains “early and often” exposure to peanut, egg and milk for at least the next 5 - 6 months. Stage 3 serves two purposes. If you are finishing Stage 2, this is the logical next stop on your baby's food journey. Once your baby is consistently eating solids, safely expand from peanut, egg and milk to an additional top 6 allergens for at least the next 6 - 18 months. If your baby has never started allergen introduction, is older than 8 months or so, and is eating solids already, you could start with Stage 3.

When should my baby start on Ready, Set, Food?

+

USDA Guidelines and other prominent medical associations (NIH, AAP, AAAAI) recommend starting babies as early as 4 months of age with food allergen introduction. We recommend babies use Stage 1 (introduction stage) and 2 together for at least 6-months. It's a great time to start this program anytime between 4 - 12 months of age. Stage 3 is designed to either be a next step from stage 2 expanding allergen exposure from 3 to 9 allergens including tree nuts, sesame, wheat and soy. However, if your baby hasn't started allergen, but is already eating solid foods, feel free to start with Stage 3.
