How to use

Open 1 packet, pour into bottle of formula or breast milk, shake it up and feed as you normally would. Use 1 packet, once a day until you’ve completed the box, then move onto the next Stage Mix-Ins, or allergen-inclusive foods if ready for solids. You will need a minimum of 2 oz of breast milk, formula, or baby food to mix with. Use wider flow nipple if needed (3+). Option to mix into foods if your baby is eating solids.

If you miss a day, resume the following day.

Must-have product

This product is a life saver. It takes the hard work out of allergy introduction. I was always worried how I would maintain frequent exposure considering I have a baby who doesn’t love food yet. This is exactly what we needed. I gave 4 stars only because of packaging. The little packs aren’t very bottle-shape friendly and I usually make a mess (especially when making a bottle with one hand and I have the baby in the other 😅). I usually have to flick the packet multiple times to get the product out rather than it flowing freely once opened and tipped over.

Good product but purchase elsewhere

I purchased the stage 2 kit elsewhere but since stage 2 is recommended for 6 months + I purchased from Ready Set Food. It has been straight forward and easy to use. I wish the packets were long and skinny (similar to water bottle mix ins) because we use tall bottles. Also 7 days after I purchased the product went on sale and the company would not price adjust. I would purchase again but from one of their retail distributors. It’s also cheaper at Walmart.

Convenient and easy

This product is extremely convenient. Yes, we can introduce these allergens differently but the convenience of putting one bag in our baby’s milk is just too simple. The only thing we don’t like about this product is that it doesn’t mix as well. It clumps up but that’s ok as long as the baby still gets in the mixture.

So easy! Must have for new parents

Bought for my 2nd child. I wish I had these w/ my 1st. SO EASY. It’s hard enough to track everything making sure your baby is getting everything they need. With my first we did the peanut puffs, but these widen allergy exposure and gives such a peace of mind with so little work. So glad I saw these on shark tank before I was even pregnant!

It is important to note that for early allergen introduction parents need to frequently feed allergenic foods such as peanut, egg, and milk to their babies. Parents have found that trying to do this on their own is difficult and time-consuming, which is why we've created Ready. Set. Food! to help make early allergen introduction easy.

When should I start my baby on Ready. Set. Food! and for how long?

The 2020 USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans and other prominent medical associations (NIH, AAP, AAAAI) recommend starting babies as early as 4 months of age with food allergen introduction.

We recommend starting the Stage 1 introduction, and Stage 2 for continued exposure together anytime between 4 - 12 months of age. You should sustain exposure to Stage 2 for at least 2 months.

Stage 3 is designed as the next step from Stage 2, and expands allergen exposure from 3 to 9 allergens including tree nuts, sesame, wheat and soy. However, if your baby hasn't started allergen introduction, but is already eating solid foods, feel free to start with Stage 3. Continue on Stage 3 for 3 - 6 months.

Feeding foods like peanut, egg, and milk only once or twice is NOT enough. We recommend using Ready. Set. Food!, for at least 6 months, or until your baby is regularly eating the allergens at least 3 times a week. We designed Ready. Set.
