We’re excited to introduce Ready. Set. Food! Organic Purees, the first-ever puree pouches on the market with the top 3 most common food allergens – peanut, egg, and milk – already inside. Learn how our purees are one way to help set your child up for a healthier future.
Ready. Set. Food! Purees with a Purpose
Guidelines from the leading medical organizations recommend feeding your baby allergens on a daily basis, and then maintaining that exposure until it’s part of your child’s everyday diet.
Our Organic Purees are a safe, easy and delicious solution to help follow the new leading medical guidelines that recommend introducing allergens early and often while giving your child nutritious and healthy foods.
As the first and only baby puree with the top 3 allergens – peanut, egg and milk – already mixed inside, Ready. Set. Food! Organic Purees are baby food with a purpose. Peanut, egg, and milk account for ~80% of all childhood food allergies. So, our purees make it easier to follow the USDA Dietary Guidelines, which recommend that you "introduce infants to potentially allergenic foods.”
Ready. Set. Food! Organic Purees are part of Stage 2 in our system, the Maintain stage. Our delightful blends are not only delicious, but also thoughtfully designed to introduce the top 3 allergens to your child's diet safely and easily.
Choose from these three yummy flavors:
- Daniel Tiger Banana Blueberry: A tigertastic, timeless combo of two favorite flavors that is sure to become an instant favorite.
- Daniel Tiger Apple Banana Carrot: This grr-iffic puree combines the natural sweetness of apples and bananas with the goodness of carrots – the perfect balance of taste for your little one.
- Apple Peach Cinnamon: Sweet apples, juicy peaches and the perfect hint of cinnamon combine in a blend that your little one is sure to love.
All three flavors are USDA Certified Organic, made with only real food and no artificial ingredients. In addition, all three flavors have received the Clean Label Project Purity Award.
And following USDA Dietary Guidelines for infants and toddlers, our purees contain no added sugar. So, these purees are another way we keep our promise to give families healthier futures.
Maintaining Allergen Feeding and Diet Diversity
Introducing new flavors and textures while maintaining exposure to top allergens has never been easier.
Our Organic Puree is a tasty and convenient solution to help parents follow leading medical guidelines that recommend introducing allergens early and often, while feeding your child a nutritious and diverse diet.
Since our purees are fully organic, with no added sugar and no artificial additives, they’re a healthy addition to baby’s diet.
Plus, thanks to the allergens mixed inside, our Organic Purees are higher in protein than most other fruit and veggie purees. Our Daniel Tiger Banana Blueberry puree contains 6g of protein, while our Apple Peach Cinnamon and Daniel Tiger Apple Banana Carrot purees contain 5g of protein.
Ready. Set. Food! Organic Puree is a great addition to a balanced diet, and an easy way to maintain regular exposure to the 3 most common food allergens.
When is baby ready for purees?
Baby is ready for purees when they’re ready for solids. Signs that baby is ready for solids include sitting up with little to no support, good head and neck control, and showing interest in the foods you eat. Baby also needs to outgrow the tongue-thrusting reflex (meaning the tongue doesn’t force food out of baby’s mouth, but instead lets baby swallow).
Note that Ready. Set. Food Organic Purees are meant to maintain baby’s exposure to the top 3 allergens, after they’ve already been introduced to peanut, egg, and milk. If you haven’t introduced these allergens yet, we recommend starting with our Stage 1 Mix-Ins before feeding baby our purees.
Organic Purees and Baby’s Feeding Journey
Whether you’re planning to start baby’s solids journey with purees, give them finger foods right away, or do a combination of both, Ready. Set. Food! Organic Purees can fit right into baby’s feeding journey – and early allergen introduction journey.
Leading medical guidelines recommend feeding babies common allergens multiple times per week, for several months, in baby-safe ways.
Planning to start your baby’s solids journey with purees? The three most common allergens, peanut, egg, and milk, can be very difficult to feed baby if you take a DIY approach.
Our purees are a much easier way to keep feeding crucial allergens to your little one. They take much less time than making your own puree, and you’ll always know that you’re giving baby the right dose of allergens.
Even if you start with baby-led weaning (finger foods), Ready. Set. Food! Organic Purees can still fit into baby’s feeding journey. It’s still important for baby to learn how to eat from a spoon. After all, they’ll need to use a spoon to eat foods like applesauce and yogurt in the future!
Plus, all babies need to eat common allergenic foods early and consistently for the best chance at food freedom. In particular, peanut is a tough allergen to introduce on your own with baby-led weaning. Mixing a baby-safe form of peanut into the finger foods you make takes lots of time and guesswork. What if baby doesn’t eat enough of the peanut? Take away the extra work – and the stress – by giving baby our ready-to-feed purees instead.

Ready. Set. Food! Organic Purees FAQ
How much of each allergen is in Ready. Set. Food! Organic Puree?
Each puree pouch contains the allergen protein equivalent to about 3/4 tablespoons of peanut butter, about 1/4 of an egg white, and 1 ¼ oz of milk or yogurt.
How much fruit is inside?
Each puree pouch contains ¾ of a serving of fruit for babies or ½ serving of fruit for toddlers:
- Each Banana Blueberry puree pouch contains the equivalent of ⅓ of a banana and 10 blueberries.
- Each Apple Peach Cinnamon puree pouch contains the equivalent of ⅓ of an apple and ⅕ of a peach.
- Each Apple Banana Carrot puree pouch contains the equivalent of ¼ of a banana, ¼ of an apple, and ½ of a baby carrot.
Can I mix a RSF! Stage 3 Mix-In packet with the Organic Puree?
Yes, you can combine a Stage 3 Mix-In packet with our puree. This is a great way to keep feeding baby 9 top allergens and help promote a diverse diet.
Can I combine RSF! Organic Baby Oatmeal with the Organic Puree?
Yes, you can combine a Stage 3 Mix-In packet with our puree. This is another great way to keep feeding baby 9 top allergens and help promote a diverse diet. Keep in mind, though, that baby shouldn’t eat only oatmeal and puree without trying other foods. Too much of that means they won’t enjoy a diverse diet.
How should I store unopened packets of the puree?
Store them in a cool, dry place such as a pantry.
How should I store an opened packet of the puree?
Refrigerate an opened puree packet, and feed baby the rest within 24 hours after opening. Some babies may only eat ½ a pouch at a time depending on their age and feeding stage.
Can I freeze the puree?
Our Organic Puree should not be frozen in its pouch, but can be frozen with teething pouches, an ice cube tray, a frozen baby smoothie mixture, or another method.
Can I warm up the puree?
Yes, every once in a while. Warming shouldn’t destroy the allergen proteins. Just don’t boil the puree.
